چکیده مقاله:

The objective of this study is to develop an environmentally friendly approach for incorporating Nickel nanoparticles (NiNPs) into diatomite (D) pores to create a composite material known as NiNPs-D. The NiNPs were synthesized using Eucalyptus leaf extract at a temperature of ۷۰ °C for ۳۰ minutes. The formation of the composite was analyzed using UV-Vis, FTIR, particle size analysis, and color observation. The presence of surface plasmon bands in the range of ۴۴۰-۴۶۰ nm confirms the formation of NiNPs. Approximately ۹۹.۸% of the NiNO۳ was successfully converted into NiNPs. The smallest particle size of NiNPs, measuring ۳۰ nm, was achieved with an NiNO۳ concentration of ۱ mM and a stirring time of ۲۴ hours at ۷۰ °C. The colloidal NiNPs remained stable for up to ۷ days. The adsorption process of NiNPs onto diatomite was indicated by the appearance of peaks corresponding to -C=O and -C-O- groups at ۱۷۴۰ and ۱۳۶۶ cm-۱, respectively, in the FTIR spectrum. Through adsorption and gravimetric techniques, approximately ۱ wt.% of NiNPs were loaded into the pores of diatomite. This loading resulted in a change in the color of the diatomite material from white to reddish-brown. The utilization of green technology for NiNPs loading is expected to enhance the application of diatomite in the field of biomedicine.
