چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: Sexual subjective well-being (SSWB) significantly influences sexual health and overall quality of life. This study aimed to determine the relationships between health, sexual behaviors, and happiness with SSWB in Iranian women. Methods: This descriptive-correlational study was conducted between ۲۰۲۱ and ۲۰۲۲ with ۲۲۰ reproductive-age women from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. Participants were selected via cluster random sampling. Data collection utilized validated tools, including the Goldberg and Hiller General Health Questionnaire, the Oxford Happiness Questionnaire, the Subjective Sexual Well-Being (SSWB) Questionnaire, and the Rosen Sexual Behavior Questionnaire. Data were analyzed using SPSS version ۲۶ with Pearson and Spearman correlation coefficients, one-way ANOVA, and Kruskal-Wallis tests, maintaining a ۹۵% significance level. Results: The mean SSWB score was ۱۲.۳ ± ۶.۶. SSWB exhibited significant positive correlations with general health (r = ۰.۲۸۵, p = ۰.۰۱۰), happiness (r = ۰.۱۱۵, p = ۰.۰۰۰), sexual desire (r = ۰.۶۳۴, p = ۰.۰۰۰), and orgasm (r = ۰.۷۲۶, p = ۰.۰۲۱). A ۱-point increase in sexual desire increased SSWB by ۱.۳ times, while a ۱-point increase in depression symptoms decreased SSWB by ۱۴%. Conclusion: The findings emphasize the critical roles of general health, happiness, and certain sexual performance components in SSWB. Addressing these factors could improve sexual satisfaction and quality of life for women.
