Successful Pregnancy in a Rare Case of Hypervascular Uterus with One Blocked Fallopian Tube: A Case Report from Iran

Hypervascular uterus is a rare condition characterized by a marked increase in the density and blood supply of the uterine vessels. During pregnancy, this condition can carry a risk of vascular rupture and severe maternal complications. Affected women are often advised to avoid pregnancy or use a surrogate uterus. A ۳۳-year-old woman with a two-year history of infertility, after visiting an infertility treatment center, was diagnosed with a hypervascular uterus and a blocked fallopian tube. She was prevented from getting pregnant by specialists and was offered a surrogate uterus. However, the patient underwent a ۴-month lifestyle modification period that included regular physical activity, quality sleep, healthy nutrition, and the use of traditional methods to reduce pelvic congestion, including local fumigation. Esfand incense (Ambernasa kharibakhk and Muqal incense) is effective in reducing blood vessel volume. The woman became pregnant after three months of hair removal and now has a one-year-old child.
