چکیده مقاله:

Bipolar disorders are long-term mental health problems that cause people to have cycles of mania and depression over and over again. These disorders affect more than ۱% of the world's population and make people far more likely to become disabled or die, frequently from heart disease or suicide. Unipolar depression and other conditions may have similar symptoms, which can make it hard to diagnose and occasionally cause delays. Bipolar disorders are caused by a mix of genetic, neurological, and environmental factors. They are typically linked to other medical and psychiatric conditions that make diagnosis and treatment increasingly harder. Using mood stabilizers, antipsychotics, and selective antidepressants is a common way to treat people. Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychoeducation are two examples of psychosocial treatments that are also important for stopping relapses. Even if things have gotten better recently, managing bipolar disorder is still hard because of differences in how they are treated, the absence of specific biomarkers, and differences in the drugs and treatment guidelines that are available in different areas. A new research demonstrates how digital health technology and precision psychiatry might make diagnosis and treatment better. However, there are still big disparities, particularly when it comes to making sure everyone gets the same treatment throughout the world. This review gives the newest conditions and treatments on bipolar disorder, including clinical presentation, early diagnosis, pathophysiology, treatment options, and future perspectives. This will also assist clinicians and researchers deal with these ongoing conditions in practical and clinical approaches.
