چکیده مقاله:

This study examines innovative green infrastructure methods as effective strategies for enhancing sustainability and resilience in semi-arid cities. Through a comprehensive literature review, various practices—including xeriscaping, rainwater harvesting, green roofs, and permeable pavements—were identified and evaluated based on their effectiveness in addressing water scarcity, urban heat, and biodiversity loss. The analysis underscored the importance of adaptive implementation and stakeholder engagement in the successful adoption of these methods. Challenges such as financial constraints and regulatory barriers were also highlighted as significant obstacles to integration. The findings suggest that collaborative approaches that incorporate community knowledge and preferences are essential for fostering resilience in urban environments. This research contributes valuable insights for urban planners and policymakers aimed at promoting sustainable urban development in semi-arid regions, emphasizing the critical need for innovative solutions to meet the evolving challenges posed by climate change and rapid urbanization.
