چکیده مقاله:

In this study, an efficient method for the synthesis of acrylated polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) was presented and an epoxy/POSS/MOF/PANI coating was prepared and investigated as an advanced protective system. First, acrylated POSS was synthesized by reacting the amino groups of POSS with acrylic acid in the presence of a coupling agent dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (DCC) and a catalyst ۴-dimethylaminopyridine (DMAP). Then, acrylated POSS was distributed in the epoxy matrix along with a metal-organic framework (MOF) and polyaniline (PANI) to form a composite coating resistant to corrosion and mechanical stress. FTIR spectroscopy and SEM analyses confirmed the morphology and structure of the acrylated POSS and the composite coating. Electrochemical and mechanical tests showed that the combination of acrylated POSS with MOF and PANI improved the adhesion, chemical resistance and protective properties of the epoxy coating. This study indicates that the modified acrylated POSS plays an important role in enhancing the performance of epoxy coatings and can be used in industrial applications.
