چکیده مقاله:

This study investigates the influence of ultrasound-synthesized PANI-Sn MOFs at concentrations of ۱%, ۳%, and ۵% on the corrosion resistance of epoxy resin. Electrochemical tests show that increasing the MOF content decreases corrosion current density (Icorr) and enhances polarization resistance (Rp), leading to improved corrosion protection. The best performance is observed at ۳%, where Icorr reaches its lowest value and Rp its highest, indicating superior barrier properties. At ۵%, a slight decrease in Rp suggests possible particle aggregation, which may affect uniform dispersion. Percentage improvement analysis confirms that the ۳% concentration provides the most significant enhancement in corrosion resistance. The ultrasound synthesis method ensures better dispersion and integration of MOFs within the epoxy matrix, optimizing protective performance. This formulation offers great potential for protective coatings, increasing durability and extending service life in harsh environments. These findings highlight the effectiveness of PANI-Sn MOFs in reinforcing epoxy resin, with promising applications in industrial and marine environments. Future studies should explore long-term stability and mechanical properties for broader practical implementation.
