The effect of building information modeling (BIM) to improve knowledge management

An important part of knowledge is acquired learning, which is the challenging responsibility of maintaining, maintaining, sharing, recording, and republishing it is the responsibility of knowledge management. Due to the increasing development of technologies, building information modeling (BIM) can be a solution to accompany and align with knowledge management. This study aims to get familiar with knowledge management, lessons learned and the effect of the building information modeling (BIM) process to co-exist these factors together for greater productivity of knowledge management. This study has been prepared based on the literature review and is aimed at improving the performance of knowledge management, which is one of the important and key factors of project and construction management science. The results show that the application of the BIM process and knowledge management and the integration of these two topics can have a significant and tangible impact on reducing risks, increasing the speed of receiving and improving errors, controlling estimates and schedules, etc., as well as the quality and productivity of the project. to increase significantly.
