چکیده مقاله:
Emotional intelligence holds significant importance due to its extensive application, particularly in children. This study aimed to analyze the content of the third-grade elementary social studies curriculum based on the emotional intelligence skills outlined in the William Roman model. The present study was descriptive and applied in nature. The statistical population consisted of all the content in the third-grade elementary social studies book, from which a sample was selected based on the subject's nature and the limited population available. Data collection utilized Roman William's Content Analysis Technique, with content validity approved by experts. Reliability was assessed using Roman William's conflict index formulas through the reconstruction method. Results indicated that, according to the William Roman model, the content of the third-grade social studies book includes components of emotional intelligence, thereby enhancing this skill in students. The analysis of learning coefficients related to the images and activities in the book demonstrated its effectiveness in engaging students in active learning.
