چکیده مقاله:

This study explores the effectiveness of auditory-based (samāʿi) teaching methods in the instruction of Persian prosody and poetic meters. Traditional pedagogical approaches often rely on visual analysis and rote memorization, which can be abstract and disengaging for many learners. In contrast, auditory methods utilize rhythmic recitation, musical accompaniment, and interactive digital tools to foster a deeper and more intuitive understanding of metrical structures. Through a combination of quantitative assessment and qualitative feedback, the research demonstrates that students who learned through auditory techniques showed significantly higher performance and engagement levels compared to those using conventional methods. The results suggest that samāʿi approaches, rooted in the oral tradition of Persian poetry, not only improve academic outcomes but also revitalize cultural and aesthetic appreciation. The study concludes with a recommendation for incorporating such techniques into modern curricula to enhance both cognitive retention and cultural literacy.
