Fauna of eriophyoid mites in the Lahrud and Ahmedabad villages of Meshginshahr city, including four new records for the Ardabil province, Iran.

In order to identify and introduce eriophyoid species in the pastures of Lahrud and Ahmedabad villages of Meshginshahr city, sampling were done randomly from the dominant plants of the area during the cropping season of ۲۰۱۹. Mite specimens were extracted from plant foliage and mounted on microscopic slides. During this study, the one family, two subfamilies, three tribes, seven genera and ۱۷ species were identified, among which, the following four species include: Aceria khaniensis Honarmand, Sadeghi & de lillo, ۲۰۲۰, Aceria spanda Lotfollahi, Haddad & de Lillo, ۲۰۱۵, Calepitrimerus baileyi Keifer, ۱۹۳۸, Aculops allotrichus (Nalepa, ۱۸۹۴) were new records for Ardabil province, Iran.
