چکیده :
Given global crises in energy, environmental pollution, and climate change, the use of renewable energy sources has become one of the strategic priorities for countries in the 21st century. Solar energy, as one of the cleanest and most accessible forms of new energy, plays an important role in sustainable electricity supply, reducing dependence on fossil fuels, and economic development. Iran, with suitable climatic conditions, more than 300 sunny days per year, and favorable geographical position, has high potential for developing solar systems.
However, despite remarkable natural potential, solar energy development in Iran faces multiple challenges that can be examined at technical, legal, economic, cultural, and management levels. The absence of appropriate infrastructure, implementation complexities, investment limitations, weak public awareness, and specialized education are among the barriers that have slowed the expansion of this technology.
This article attempts to provide a multidimensional analysis of these challenges while identifying weaknesses and offering practical solutions to facilitate solar energy development, enabling Iran to take effective steps toward energy independence, pollution reduction, and sustainable development.
