چکیده مقاله:

Rain-demand rituals, integral to the cultural and spiritual practices of various civilizations, have long served as a means of invoking divine intervention for rain and fertility. These rituals blend ancient mythologies, archetypes, and religious beliefs, evolving over time to incorporate influences from newer religions like Christianity. This article explores the evolution of rain rituals, examining how mythological symbols and religious narratives merge to create practices seeking spiritual favor. It also focuses on the rain rituals of Mazandaran, Iran, where indigenous, Islamic, and historical influences shape a distinctive framework for understanding these ancient ceremonies.
