Analysis of Iranian Mineral Export Managers' Experiences in Confronting International Sanctions

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the experiences of Iranian mineral export managers in confronting international sanctions. Aiming to identify innovative strategies, challenges, and hidden opportunities under sanction conditions, this qualitative research analyzes data based on in-depth interviews with key managers in the mining industry. The findings indicate that managers, by adopting resilient and adaptive approaches, including diversifying target markets, utilizing alternative financial channels, and focusing on value-added products, have been able to some extent to manage the negative impacts of sanctions. In addition to presenting a conceptual model of managerial behavior under sanctions, this article includes practical suggestions for policymakers and companies to increase the resilience of the mining sector and its exports in the future.
