چکیده مقاله:

In an era marked by volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA), executive leaders face mounting pressure to balance long-term strategic vision with the necessity for rapid, real-time decision-making. This paper investigates the concept of strategic agility—the ability to adapt swiftly to emerging challenges while maintaining coherent, forward-looking leadership—and how it is cultivated among Executive MBA (EMBA) graduates. Drawing on a multidisciplinary literature review and qualitative interviews with EMBA-trained executives across various sectors, the study explores how leaders operationalize strategic agility within their organizations. The findings suggest that effective agile leadership is not merely a product of technical acumen but deeply rooted in cognitive flexibility, strategic reflexivity, and organizational culture. Participants consistently emphasized the importance of abandoning rigid planning models in favor of iterative, learning-driven strategy frameworks. EMBA programs were found to contribute meaningfully to this mindset shift by emphasizing experiential learning, scenario analysis, and systems thinking. Furthermore, leaders who exhibited high strategic agility embedded real time feedback loops, empowered cross-functional teams, and fostered a tolerance for ambiguity and failure within their corporate cultures. The paper proposes a three-dimensional model of strategic agility comprising Vision (long-term orientation), Velocity (speed of action), and Versatility (adaptive thinking). These dimensions interact dynamically and must be supported by structural enablers and a learning-oriented executive mindset. Implications for both leadership practice and EMBA curriculum design are discussed, with recommendations for fostering agility as a strategic imperative in contemporary management education. By advancing the conceptual understanding of strategic agility and providing practical insights for leadership development, this study contributes to the evolving discourse on what it means to lead effectively in a complex and unpredictable world.
