چکیده مقاله:

In the era of rapid digital transformation in healthcare, the concept of Digital Twins has emerged as a powerful tool for predictive simulation and safety optimization. This study explores the application of digital twin technology in enhancing occupational health and safety (OHS) in dental clinics, which are environments prone to ergonomic strain, chemical exposure, and repetitive procedural stress. Through a conceptual and foresight-based approach, this research proposes a smart simulation model that integrates environmental sensors, wearable devices, and AI-based analytics to mirror real-time operations in dental settings. The model aims to enable managers and safety officers to simulate risk scenarios, monitor staff behavior, and make data-driven decisions to prevent accidents, reduce injuries, and optimize workflow ergonomics. Findings suggest that adopting digital twin systems can shift OHS strategies from reactive to proactive, particularly in high-precision health environments like dental clinics. The study also addresses implementation challenges such as technological readiness, cost-effectiveness, and ethical considerations.
