چکیده مقاله:
The global shift toward sustainable energy, coupled with increasing reliance on battery-powered technologies, is driving the alternative energy revolution. At the heart of this transformation are lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), which play a crucial role in advancing the energy, automotive, and tech sectors. Their continued development is essential for powering innovations in electric mobility, smart grids, and portable electronics. Despite their significance, LIB manufacturers face two primary challenges that must be addressed to maintain industry dominance: raw material procurement and battery failure mitigation. The rising demand for key resources such as lithium, cobalt, and nickel poses concerns regarding availability, environmental impact, and geopolitical stability. Additionally, ensuring battery reliability is critical for consumer trust and the widespread adoption of LIBs in emerging technologies. This paper explores the complexities of raw material sourcing and battery failure prevention, focusing on innovative solutions that enhance sustainability and performance. Strategies such as advanced recycling techniques, improved battery management systems, and AI-driven diagnostics offer promising avenues to overcome these obstacles. By analyzing industry trends and emerging technologies, we aim to provide insights into how LIB manufacturers can navigate these challenges and contribute to the global transition toward renewable energy.
