چکیده مقاله:
Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machining is a critical process in manufacturing that requires precise control over various parameters to achieve optimal surface quality. This paper presents a comprehensive study on the optimization of CNC machining parameters, including spindle speed, feed rate, and depth of cut. We employed a systematic approach using response surface methodology (RSM) to analyze the effects of these parameters on surface roughness and dimensional accuracy. Experimental results demonstrated that an increase in spindle speed generally leads to improved surface quality, while excessive feed rates can adversely affect the finish. Additionally, the interaction between depth of cut and feed rate was found to be significant, necessitating careful calibration for optimal results. The study also includes a comparison between traditional trial-and-error methods and RSM, highlighting the efficiency gains achieved through statistical optimization techniques. The findings provide valuable insights for manufacturers seeking to enhance product quality while minimizing production time and costs. Ultimately, this research contributes to the body of knowledge in mechanical engineering by offering practical guidelines for CNC machining optimization, ensuring higher standards in manufacturing processes.
