This study investigates the impact of metaverse-based financial education on capital market literacy among Iranian retail investors and sports managers. Using a mixed-methods approach, data collected from ۳۵۰ participants revealed significant improvements in financial knowledge, particularly in areas such as stock market volatility, risk assessment, investment planning, and trading mechanisms, following immersive educational interventions. Participants reported increased motivation, engagement, and retention through gamified simulations and personalized feedback within the metaverse environment. Despite technological challenges related to accessibility and infrastructure, the findings highlight the potential of metaverse platforms as effective tools for enhancing financial literacy in emerging markets. The study offers practical implications for policymakers, educational institutions, and fintech developers aiming to foster financial inclusion and competence through innovative digital learning methods.
