چکیده مقاله:
In the complex and dynamic environment of today’s organizations, scientific metaphors can serve as powerful tools for understanding and analyzing human resource management (HRM) concepts. This study aims to interpret Newton’s laws as effective metaphors in HRM. Newton’s First Law explains the concept of organizational inertia, suggesting that employees tend to remain in their current state and that change requires an external force. The Second Law addresses the relationship between force, capability, and change, highlighting the importance of aligning employee competencies with managerial forces. Newton’s Third Law refers to organizational reactions to managerial decisions, emphasizing the need to anticipate the consequences of such decisions. The findings indicate that applying these metaphors can be effective in designing HR programs and transformational strategies. Finally, the study offers practical suggestions for implementing these metaphors, which can help HR managers manage change and enhance organizational effectiveness. Physical laws, especially Newton’s laws, are among the powerful metaphors that can be applied in the field of human resource management. Newton’s First Law, known as the law of inertia, states that every object tends to remain at rest or in uniform motion unless acted upon by an external force. In an organizational context, this suggests that employees also tend to maintain their current state and resist change unless motivated or pressured by external factors.
