چکیده مقاله:

In this study, the performance of CIGS (Copper-Indium-Gallium-Selenide) solar cells has been investigated using numerical simulation in the SCAPS software. The research focuses on analyzing and optimizing structural parameters, including the thickness and properties of CIGS and CdS layers, energy bandgap, and carrier mobility. The primary goal is to enhance the energy conversion efficiency of the cell by precisely tuning these parameters. The obtained results demonstrate that by modifying the composition, thickness, and electrical properties of the CIGS and CdS layers, optimal values for open-circuit voltage (Voc), short-circuit current density (Jsc), fill factor (FF), and ultimately energy efficiency can be achieved. Furthermore, a comparison of the simulation results with experimental data reported in reputable publications indicates good agreement, validating the employed numerical model.
