چکیده مقاله:

The adoption of renewable resources is increasing, partly as a result of the environmental repercussions associated with fossil fuels. This economic evaluation incorporates wave energy as a novel renewable source and wind and solar power as the primary sources of renewable energy that are widely used in hybrid renewable energy systems. This study investigated the viability of implementing a grid-independent system in a medium-sized hotel located in Kish Island, Iran, utilizing PV panel and wave energy convertor. Furthermore, the examination incorporates economic optimization by utilizing the Homer software as the designated optimization tool. Sensitivity analyses are conducted to assess the influence of many crucial factors on performance, including sun radiation and wave height. The findings demonstrate that the wave-solar hybrid system with battery storage is the most effective energy system for meeting the hotel's electrical energy needs. In the best scenario, PV/wave energy converter/ battery, the net present cost is estimated using technical data and simulation findings to be around ۲,۳۰۷,۳۱۰$, with an energy cost of ۰.۲$. PV panel penetration makes up around ۴۲% of the entire hybrid system. This implies that only ۲۰۳ kW of the total required load is supplied by PV modules; the rest ۴۱۷ kW are provided by the battery system and wave energy converter, making the system ۱۰۰% green.
