چکیده مقاله:
The transportation of non-perishable materials plays a vital role in maintaining the continuity and cost-effectiveness of supply chain operations. However, the increasing complexity and scale of modern logistics networks demand intelligent and adaptable management systems. This paper presents a conceptual and practical model for the development of Multi-Level Transportation Management Information Systems (MTMIS) that operate across strategic, tactical, and operational layers. The proposed model is designed to enhance coordination, optimize routing and scheduling, and improve real-time visibility in transportation activities. Key enabling technologies such as cloud computing, IoT-based tracking, and integrated data analytics are incorporated into the system architecture. Simulation-based validation illustrates notable improvements in logistics performance metrics, including lead time reduction, cost optimization, and increased responsiveness. This paper highlights the critical role of layered information systems in transforming traditional supply chain transportation into a more agile and intelligent network.
