چکیده مقاله:

Wettability significantly impacts fluid flow in fractured reservoirs. This study reviews three articles on wettability's effects on production. The first used MRI to study oil movement in limestone. The second emphasizes surfactants' crucial role in enhancing oil recovery by altering wettability and promoting imbibition via diffusion into the matrix. The third used glass bead matrix blocks to test wettability, grain type, and oil phase properties. Results show surfactants shift wettability towards less oil-wet, reducing contact angles. Even small amounts of oil-wet grains affect imbibition. Oil droplets' growth-detachment in fractures, influenced by wettability, impacts fluid transport, challenging uniform pressure assumptions. These findings offer insights into surfactant effects, droplet behavior, and fluid flow in fractured reservoirs.
