چکیده مقاله:
Protection of human life and health is one of the most important factors that must be considered in any situation and place to perform work. In the oil and gas industry, human factors have been recognized as the most common causes of catastrophic accidents, but most tools for accident investigation which are used in high-risk industries, such as the oil and gas industry, were not strong enough to prevent accidents; therefore, there was an urgent need to investigate past incidents and predict dangerous actions in order to increase the level of awareness about the dangers of the workplace by direct training of personnel. For the first time, the topic of Hazards of Industrial Equipment (HIE) training in oil and gas and petrochemical industries was presented and introduced in this research and in South Pars region, the world's largest gas field in the Persian Gulf, which aims to identify, train, and minimize risks and accidents caused by industrial equipment for the employees of the oil, gas and petrochemical industry by holding training classes and specialized investigation of frequent and unexpected accidents for people in different parts of the refineries. After examining different methods in implementing HIE in seven different oil, gas, and petrochemical refineries in the Persian Gulf, the results were analyzed and parameters such as increasing people's awareness of existing risks and satisfaction and trust in the work environment, as well as comparing the number of accidents before and after the HIE training were examined. The results showed a ۹۰% reduction in accidents, but the results about satisfaction and trust in the work environment were different in various refineries.
