In this study, we investigate the parameters of ZnO nanosheets-based DSSC, by varying the dye solvent and loading time. Current density-voltage (J-V) characterizations show that the use of acetonitrile as a dye solvent leads to greater stability of the ZnO nanosheets. In addition, longer loading times of the dye with acetonitrile lead to higher current densities in DSSC. The maximum short-circuit current density (Jsc) of ۲.۴۹ mA.cm-۲ was achieved with acetonitrile at a charging time of ۲۴ hours. IMVS and IMPS data confirm that photoelectrons are generated and transferred more effectively in ZnO nanosheets dye-loaded in acetonitrile.
