Teflon parts have a wide range of applications in various industries, including aerospace and automotive. Teflon has anti-wear properties and can withstand higher temperatures than other industrial plastics. Various methods are used to manufacture Teflon parts, one of which is compression molding. In this article, cylindrical Teflon parts were manufactured by compression molding and their properties were examined after sintering. The effect of two parameters, the time of applying pressure and the amount of pressure on the Teflon powder in the mold, on the density, hardness and shrinkage of the parts was studied. The results show that increasing the time and amount of pressure on the powder improves the properties of the final part.
