چکیده مقاله:

In recent years, a major focus has been placed on curcumin, a naturally occurring polyphenolic substance derived from Curcuma longa L., for its potential clinical benefits in enhacing cancer-targeted therapy. This extensive clinical study provides a methodical evaluation of the various functions and mechanisms of curcumin in improving cancer-targeted therapy and discusses its potential use in cancer treatment. Curcumin, the primary active compound in turmeric, exhibits antioxidant, anticancer, and anti-inflammatory properties. Curcumin, an essential ingredient of the spice turmeric, is an alternative strategy for cancer prevention. Janus-kinase/signal transducers and activators of transcription (JAK/STAT), Nuclear Factor-kappa B (NF-κB), and transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β) pathways are just a few of the signalling pathways altered by curcumin in cancer cells. The potential for specific treatment approaches is highlighted by the prospect of curcumin as a secondary drug in cancer-targeted therapy. This study outlines ongoing clinical trails and novel formulations developed to enhance curcumin's bioavailability and efficacy, which could pave the way for more extensive use of the compound in cancer treatment. Further research and clinical investigations are necessary to elucidate the full therapeutic potential of this natural compound against cancer.
