The Role of Artificial Intelligence(AI) in Reducing Nursing Errors

Background: Artificial intelligence has become one of the major developments in the world of medicine. This technology, with its unique capabilities in analyzing data and predicting patient conditions, has significantly increased the efficiency of care systems. Using artificial intelligence, nurses can respond quickly to critical situations and make more accurate decisions. Artificial intelligence helps reduce human errors and improves treatment processes. These changes have improved the quality of nursing services and improved patient experience. Methods: Scoping Review and York University stages By searching for the keywords Artificial Intelligence(AI), Nursing, Nursing Error in the Latin databases Proquest, PubMed, Science Direct and Persian Magiran, SID, Iranmedex in the period ۲۰۱۴-۲۰۲۴, out of ۱۷ articles, the findings of ۹ related articles were included in the study and compiled in ۲۰۲۵. Results: With the advent of artificial intelligence, nursing will be transformed in the future. This technology is able to continuously analyze medical information and patient conditions in real time. Nurses can make better decisions and even predict which potential problems a patient is at risk of. These advances improve the quality of care and allow nurses to have more time for human interaction and more personalized care. One of the biggest benefits of artificial intelligence in nursing is the reduction of nursing errors. These systems can help nurses identify errors in medication prescriptions, monitor treatments, and diagnose critical conditions in a timely manner. This technology can automatically store and update patients' medical records with high accuracy, which reduces errors caused by misunderstandings and incomplete information. From analyzing patient data to predict critical situations to automating routine processes, AI in nursing is enabling faster and more accurate decisions and helping nurses identify errors in nursing care, which also increases patient safety and reduces stress for nurses. Conclusion: Artificial intelligence is changing traditional methods and transforming nursing. It is taking care services to a higher level by increasing accuracy and speed and helping nurses; using more accurate data, provide more personalized care and by reducing nursing errors, improve the quality of life of patients and reduce the workload of
