چکیده مقاله:
Background: AI or Artificial Intelligence is an emerging technology that plays a significant role in health management as it enhances prediction, data analysis, and designing health interventions. Increasingly, health awareness and the need for health services have led to a very high increase in AI use in health management, particularly in forecasting natural disasters or managing health crises such as the COVID-۱۹ pandemic. Many articles show that AI can identify and help further reduce health inequalities, optimize health services, and enhance the quality of primary healthcare. Methods: This article describes the applications of artificial intelligence in health management based on different papers with their data. It defines ways to improve the decision-making process in health management analysis through machine learning techniques, natural language processing, and smart sensors. A systematic review of databases (PubMed, Web of Science, and Scopus) was conducted on those studies published in December ۲۰۱۵. It also discusses the ethical and legal challenges related to the use of AI, such as data protection, equity in accessibility of health services, etc. Results: AI has been proven to increase the accuracy of predictions needed to enhance health interventions' efficiency. For example, using historical and current information on natural disasters, AI systems can identify potential at-risk populations and assist health authorities in allocating resources. Further, an instance of AI intervention in health crisis management would be the issues it raises in hastening the identification of health needs and resource allocation to pursue these needs Conclusion: Artificial intelligence is poised to revolutionize health management, improve access to health services, and mitigate existing asymmetries. All the same, the ethical and legal concerns have to be resolved, and a proper data infrastructure developed. With AI, the future of health management is moving toward constructing an intelligent and efficient health system that can enhance the quality of life; therefore, the investment in research and development of AI-related technologies in health management must take center stage if this technology is to be beneficial.
