چکیده مقاله:

Background and Aims:  AI presents a ground-breaking opportunity that has the potential to harness the future of midwifery education. Advanced tools such as interactive simulations, intelligent diagnostic systems, and adaptive learning platforms can help meet the objectives of education and midwifery student training. This research elaborates on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities as well as threats of AI application in midwifery education. Methods: This study represents a systematic review of studies that have focused on midwifery education through computer games across the globe using the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) method. Records were searched in credible scientific databases including PubMed, Scopus and Google Scholar using key terms: "computer games", "midwifery education", "birth simulation" and "interactive learning. The review focused on articles published between the years ۲۰۱۰ and ۲۰۲۳ that were related to the use of computer games in midwifery education. Results: Strengths ۱. Personalized learning, ۲. Advanced simulations, ۳. Access to big data, ۴. Long-term cost reduction. Weaknesses ۱. High initial costs, ۲. Technology dependency, ۳. Need for trainer training, ۴. Technical limitations. Opportunities ۱. Expanding distance learning, ۲. ۲. Integration with virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), ۳. ۴. Games & Game-based Learning Development Working with international institutions Threats ۱. Cultural and ethical objections, ۲. Privacy concerns, ۳. Over-dependence on technology, ۴. Emerging technologies risks. Conclusion: The potential of artificial intelligence is tremendous in revolutionizing midwifery education, yet its success is contingent on overcoming the technical, financial, and ethical obstacles that lie ahead. However, infrastructure, educator training, and localized, context-specific tools must also be invested in to maximize the use of this technology. It is also imperative that educators, technology developers, and policymakers work together.
