چکیده مقاله:

Background and Aims: The convergence of artificial intelligence (AI), mixed reality, and human-computer interaction is transforming healthcare by creating new ways to deliver patient care and clinical education. Traditional methods of acquiring surgical skills through observation and surgical assistance have faced challenges in the past few years. Augmented and virtual reality tools can facilitate surgical planning and clinical training activities. This study aimed to investigate the current status of artificial intelligence and identify its applications in the field of clinical education and surgical techniques in surgical technology students, by integrating relevant literature. Methods: This narrative review was conducted by reviewing articles indexed in the years ۲۰۲۰-۲۰۲۵ in the databases PubMed, Science Direct, ISI Web of Knowledge, SID, Magiran, and the Google Scholar search engine with relevant keywords in Persian and English. The articles that met the inclusion criteria were selected, and the analysis is in the form of reviewing the articles, summarizing, and presenting their results. Results: Surgical technologists, as important and influential factors in the operating room, must learn the necessary techniques before entering the operating room. With the advancement of artificial intelligence technology, it has revolutionized medical education and clinical care. By increasing the quality of simulating surgical procedures, artificial intelligence has made it possible for students to acquire the necessary skills in a controlled environment before entering the operating room. Conclusion: The results obtained from this study provide evidence of the positive and functional effects of AI in the simulation of surgical procedures and the subsequent dissemination of surgical techniques to surgical technologist student. However, more research should be conducted to determine the deficiencies of this educational strategy so as to optimize its implementation in operating room training.
