چکیده مقاله:

Background and Aims: Over the past two decades, Iran has faced the challenge of declining fertility. This declining trend has been unprecedented in the country's history and has caused Iran to have the fastest decline in fertility rates in world history. Currently, In most neonatal intensive care units, graduates of clinical disciplines are on duty, and their curriculum briefly mentions neonatal resuscitation training, and it is felt that this should be given sufficient attention. Training in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) does not allow trainees to come into contact with patients due to the vulnerability of high-risk infants and the availability of specialized equipment. Methods: The method of this study is applied in terms of its purpose and in terms of its implementation (data collection) it is a quasi-experimental research with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The population of this study included nursing students in ۱۴۰۳, from whom ۳۰ people were selected by random sampling method and randomly placed in two groups of ۱۵ people, experimental and control. Results: The findings showed that the combined neonatal cardiopulmonary resuscitation training course, based on gamification and case-based learning, was effective in improving students' knowledge levels. Conclusion: In general, Based on the research findings, It can be said that the combined neonatal cardiopulmonary resuscitation training course based on gamification and case-based learning is effective in improving students' knowledge and clinical performance. Therefore, It is suggested that this training be used to improve students' level in this field.
