Editorial: The Courage and Sacrifice of Amir al-Muminin (Commander of the Faithful)

The Prophet Muhammad introduced Amir al-Muminin Ali as inseparable from the Quran, stating that this blessed being is the living embodiment of the Quran—its truth, its interpreter, its practical model, and its fruit. It is fitting to discuss the "Speaking Quran" to vividly illustrate how divine verses manifest tangibly in a person. Amir al-Muminin's words align perfectly with those of God. Various sects have narrated that the Prophet said: "If you seek God's forgiveness, turn to the virtues and personality of Ali ibn Abi Talib. Gazing at him is worship; speaking of him is worship", as he said: 'Remembering Ali is worship.'" He also said: "Looking at Ali's face is worship." Moreover, many of today's individual and societal problems can only be resolved by referring to the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (Household of the Prophet) and Amir al-Muminin ‘Ali. He is the standard and measure, and Shiites and Muslims must align their actions and behavior with his example.
