چکیده مقاله:

Terminals are the most important elements of the transportation network, and trip generation, trip attraction, interchange, dual access between city and network, and many other technical activities are formed around them. These elements are dual-purpose uses that act as a center for providing transportation services as well as socio-economic activities. In a transportation network, terminals enable access to the network and the possibility of using transportation services. The performance of transportation terminals is not independent of each other, and changes in the layout and number of terminals in a network also affect the performance of other terminals. Network changes will have significant effects on increasing or decreasing the travel demand concentrated in terminals. Therefore, terminal performance behavior measurement will only have desirable results if these effects caused by these changes are properly evaluated. The node-place model is a usage model for evaluating the performance of different terminals in a network and comparing them with each other. This can be used to measure the effects of changes in the transportation network or urban land uses around the terminal on the behavior of network terminals over time. In this paper, urban passenger transportation terminals, changes in terminal performance due to six changes (add, remove, development, reduction, replacement, and merge) of terminals in the network, and four changes (density growth, density reduction, accessibility, and use change) of urban land uses in the vicinity of the terminals have been analyzed. This was done using the modified Node-place model. The output of this study provides planners with valuable information with which they can predict the effects of comprehensive transportation study plans on the behavior of the urban transportation network.
