Background and Aim: In today's world, media and digital technologies have become an integral part of human life, especially children and adolescents, so that its pervasiveness has turned the world into a small community where all human beings are quickly and comprehensively aware of all events and happenings. From television and the Internet to social media and smartphones, these tools have dramatically affected people's lifestyles, learning, and communication. While the use of media and technologies has many benefits, including easy access to information, fast communication, and educational entertainment, it also poses many threats and challenges, especially for children. One of the major dangers that has arisen in the digital world is child sex, this type of crime not only directly harms the child but also has a profound and long-term impact on individual and social life. The purpose of this article is to examine the wide impact of technology and media on child sexual offense, focusing on how cyberspace, social media and new technologies are effective in increasing children's vulnerability to sexual risks. This article analyzes the various ways of sexual abuse of children through digital technologies, including access to harmful content, online harassment, and privacy, and seeks to strengthen protective methods and reduce the risks associated with these threats by providing preventive and educational solutions for parents, educators and policymakers.
