چکیده مقاله:

In this research, a sensitive and selective electrochemical sensor (ES) based on graphite modified with pyrocatechol violet (PV) was developed for the anodic stripping voltammetric (ASV) determination of Cu(II) ions. The optimal conditions for modifying the electrode with PV were determined: the best results were obtained using an electrochemical sensor prepared by modifying ۲.۰ g of graphite powder with ۴.۰ mg of PV at a temperature range of ۶۰–۷۰°C. The optimal conditions for the ASV determination of Cu(II) ions using the ES were identified as follows: Britton Robinson buffer solution with a pH of ۵.۰–۵.۵, a supporting electrolyte of ۰.۱ M HNO۳, and an accumulation time of ۱۰۰ seconds on the electrode surface. The limit of detection for the Cu۲+ ion was determined to be ۰.۰۴ ppm, and the closeness of the obtained results was confirmed by a correlation coefficient close to ۱. The working surface area of the electrochemical sensor (MES) modified with pyrocatechol violet was determined to be ۰.۲ cm۲, and its working potential range was found to be from -۱.۸ V to +۱.۵ V during the experiments.
