Comparison of ۴G and ۵G Networks in Intelligent Car System Performance

The Intelligent Transporting System concept (ITS) is gaining momentum from the point of view, not only of research, but also of standardization and industrial development. Intelligent Transporting System is one of the many smart city applications that can be realized via ۵G and ۴G networks. The paper aims to compare ۴G and ۵G networks performance in intelligent car system. The study has two tests first is the real-world test that analyzes the performance of cellular-based long-term evolution (LTE) and ۵G in vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure and a simulation test that compares LTE and ۵G deployed both in Device-to-Device and infrastructural mode.
