چکیده مقاله:
The importance of the fuel injection system in diesel engines is such that it plays a very significant role in determining the efficiency and performance of these engines. In the present study, the impact of changing fuel injection strategies on the stress experienced by the crankshaft and connecting rod components was investigated. The method used for this research is the finite element method. Initially, the cylinder pressure values were extracted from previous research and used as input for simulating stress in the crankshaft and connecting rod components. Previous research has concluded that using the pilot injection method can increase engine output power. In this study, it was also found that the safety factor of the connecting rod and crankshaft components decreases by ۳ to ۱۲ percent as a result of such a change in the injection strategy.
