چکیده مقاله:
In this paper, we propose a chaotic particle swarm optimization (CPSO) algorithm for solving the optimization problem of truss structures. The CPSO algorithm incorporates chaotic maps into the position updating rules to improve its performance. We apply the CPSO algorithm to four benchmark truss optimization problems from the literature and compare its performance with the standard PSO algorithm and other meta-heuristic algorithms. The results show that the CPSO algorithm can find solutions that are comparable or even superior to those found by other optimization methods. The incorporation of chaotic maps into PSO can enhance its exploration and exploitation capabilities and prevent premature convergence and stagnation. The proposed CPSO algorithm is a simple yet effective modification of PSO that can be easily implemented and applied to various optimization problems.
