چکیده مقاله:

Helicobacter pylori is one of the most common bacterial infections in the digestive tract that can cause problems such as stomach ulcers, gastritis, and even stomach cancer. Helicobacter pylori can cause peptic ulcers or gastritis. Infection with Helicobacter pylori is most common in children. Only ۲۰% of people with this infection show symptoms. Symptoms include burning stomach pain, unexplained weight loss, and vomiting blood. Peptic ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori infection are usually treated with a combination of antibiotics and proton pump inhibitors. Atrophic gastritis is a type of chronic inflammation of the stomach that leads to destruction of stomach tissue and reduced function. In this case, the glands that produce acid and enzymes in the stomach wall are damaged, and gradually the normal stomach tissue is replaced by atrophic tissue. Helicobacter pylori infection of the stomach is the most common cause of gastritis and stomach ulcers worldwide. This infection occurs very often with age for many people. About ۵۰ percent of people develop this disease by the age of ۶۰, but recent studies have shown that the incidence of Helicobacter pylori infection is lower in younger people and that the prevalence of this infection is higher among Asian countries than in European and American regions. In this article, Helicobacter pylori has been thoroughly examined.
