چکیده مقاله:

Sustainability has become a central focus of strategic management practices in organizations, driven by increasing environmental concerns. While sustainability has traditionally been explored through environmental science and policy, psychological insights are gaining recognition for their crucial role in shaping pro-environmental behaviors within organizations. This paper aims to explore the key psychological trends in sustainability research, focusing on individual behaviors, social norms, and organizational climate. Using bibliographic coupling, this study analyzes the intellectual structure and evolution of sustainability research, with an emphasis on psychology in the business domain. The analysis, based on ۳,۵۴۶ documents from the Web of Science, identifies nine research clusters that highlight the critical role of psychological mechanisms such as intrinsic motivation, moral values, and social norms in fostering green behaviors. The findings underscore the importance of integrating psychological theories into organizational sustainability initiatives, offering insights into the psychological factors that drive environmental outcomes. The study provides a comprehensive mapping of the field’s evolution, revealing the interconnectedness of research streams and offering a pathway for future research to enhance sustainability practices within organizations.
