چکیده مقاله:
Genomic technologies and personalized medicine have rapidly changed the healthcare delivery landscape, one of the most notable impacts being the transformation of medical tourism. The convergence of genetic data with medical services is becoming more important as patients are travelling to other countries for more specialized treatments. The article analyzes how genetic databases are designed, set up and used, and how they can meet the needs of international patients, including support for diagnostic accuracy, therapeutic efficacy and patient safety. Drawing on peer-reviewed literature, government health reports, and real-world case studies, this article explores the opportunities and challenges of genetic data integration. It additionally tackles key issues, including data privacy, ethical considerations, inconsistencies in regulation between countries, and technological interoperability. In addition, the review notes some more recent innovations including artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain technology in the management of genetic data. These ensure that the database is robust and also suggest further avenues for research in this fast-evolving area of study.
