چکیده مقاله:

Vegetation is the first and most important producer of any ecosystem and reflects its numerous factors; Therefore, by studying the relationship between its changes and other factors such as the phenomenon of dust, we can understand the mutual effect of these factors. Exploration of mineral resources is part of the main means of economic development, but the destructive impact of mining on the environment is inevitable. The environmental effects of mining can occur on a local, regional and global scale through direct and indirect mining actions. These impacts can lead to erosion, sinkholes, loss of biodiversity or contamination of soil, groundwater and surface water by chemicals emitted from mining processes. Mahlat Qutb Travertine County of Iran ranks first in the country with the production of ۶۰% of Iran's travertine. Also, with the activity of iron mines, copper and gold in recent years, this region has made the mining activity in the central province more prominent. The environment is one of the three pillars of sustainable development. In the field of mining in Iran, not much attention has been paid to the environment, so that its effects can be seen in the form of air pollution and the phenomenon of dust, which affects the health of community members, native vegetation, agricultural and horticultural pastures, Observed soil and wildlife. The pollution of surface and underground waters with the introduction of salts, the penetration of heavy and toxic metals into water sources has reduced the quality of water, increasing the amount of salts and making it unusable for drinking and agriculture purposes.
