چکیده مقاله:

This paper explores the key lessons that can be drawn from China’s educational reforms between ۱۹۷۸ and ۲۰۲۰ and their potential applicability to Iran’s education system. By adopting a comparative analytical approach, the study highlights the structural, ideological, and administrative similarities and differences between the two systems. China’s reforms, particularly under the “Reform and Opening-up” policy, demonstrate how long-term planning, decentralization, teacher development, and alignment with economic needs can drive large-scale transformation. However, the Chinese experience also reveals persistent dilemmas such as balancing equity and efficiency, managing institutional resistance, and adapting national policies to local contexts. The study concludes that while certain strategies—such as skill-oriented curricula, inclusive education, and regional equity initiatives—are transferable, meaningful policy adaptation must account for Iran’s unique cultural, political, and economic conditions. The paper emphasizes critical engagement rather than direct imitation and advocates for localized, future-oriented reform models based on stakeholder participation and strategic coherence.
