چکیده مقاله:

This paper presents a finite element analysis (FEA) of rebar cutting using a hydraulic-powered blade system. A detailed ۳D CAD model of a ۱۰ mm diameter A۲ steel rebar and SPK ۲۰۸۰ cutting blades was developed in SolidWorks and simulated in ANSYS Workbench. Nonlinear material behavior, contact interaction, and hydraulic force application were modeled to replicate real-world cutting dynamics. The simulation identified stress concentration zones, plastic deformation regions, and force response over time. Parametric studies were conducted to evaluate the influence of blade angle and hydraulic pressure on cutting efficiency and tool wear. Validation against theoretical cutting force calculations and published data confirms model reliability. The results highlight optimal cutting configurations that reduce energy consumption and extend tool life. This study demonstrates how FEA can support the design of more efficient and durable hydraulic cutting tools.
