چکیده مقاله:
Depression can occur at any age, and it is good to know that today one of the most vulnerable groups to depression is the children. Depression has no specific age for onset, and since it is related to the patient's psyche, it can affect people of any age, and children are no exception. When a child suffers from a mood disorder, depression accompanied by a persistent feeling of sadness or emptiness, or loses interest in doing fun and favorite activities, you should be a little suspicious. These symptoms are sometimes signs that a child is suffering from depression. Depressive disorder is not a weakness that can be resolved with a few days of care, but requires long-term follow-up and treatment, continuous care and monitoring. But don't worry; we can all defeat depression. The sooner we get help for depression, the easier it is to treat it and enjoy life more. The first step to treating depression and preventing severe depression is to recognize the symptoms of depression. Childhood depression is different from "feeling sad" and other feelings that develop as a child grows. Just because a child is sad doesn't necessarily mean they have major depression. If a child's sadness is prolonged or interferes with their social activities, interests, schoolwork, or family life, it could be a sign of depression. Remember, although depression is a serious illness, it is treatable.
