چکیده :

The integration of computer engineering and artificial intelligence (AI) into pilot training is transforming the aviation industry. This paper explores how AI-enhanced systems such as fly-by-wire controls, integrated modular avionics (IMA), intelligent flight simulators, and digital cockpit technologies are improving pilot performance, decision-making, and flight safety. As a computer engineering student undergoing pilot training, I examine the mutual benefits of combining technical knowledge with hands-on aviation skills. The study highlights how AI-driven simulators offer personalized feedback, reduce training time, and adapt to individual pilot behaviors, ultimately creating more competent and confident aviators. Additionally, we investigate how advanced display systems and situational awareness tools contribute to reduced pilot workload and enhanced operational efficiency. This interdisciplinary approach demonstrates how digital technologies are not only reshaping flight operations but also redefining the competencies expected from next-generation pilots. The findings emphasize the urgent need to align flight training with rapidly evolving aviation technologies to prepare for a safer, smarter airspace.
