چکیده :

The Emperor’s Tears, a poetry collection by Fazel Nazari, is considered one of the most prominent works of contemporary Persian poetry. Through the creative use of imagery, it artistically and effectively conveys diverse concepts such as love, death, faith, loneliness, hope, and protest. The poems in this collection are rooted in the Persian literary and mystical tradition, while simultaneously reflecting the concerns of the modern individual in today’s world. This article adopts a descriptive-analytical approach to examine the types of imagery employed in the poems and explores the role of these rhetorical elements in enriching poetic language, deepening meaning, and creating an emotional and artistic atmosphere. By analyzing selected poems from the collection, it is demonstrated that Fazel Nazari, through the use of literary devices such as simile, metaphor, metonymy, allusion, and other visual figures of speech, not only creates novel and imaginative images, but also successfully conveys profound messages. 1All the authors of this article are students at Shahid Mofatteh Campus of Farhangian University, Shahr-e Rey. He also conveys his social, ethical, and mystical messages through a symbolic and multi-layered language. The findings of this study indicate that the poet, through an artistic fusion of emotion, imagination, and thought, invites the reader to reflect on the meaning of life and human experiences. In doing so, he has earned a distinctive position among contemporary poets
