چکیده :
The Persian language is one of the most important tools for conveying Iranian culture, thought, and civilization. To promote and teach this language to non-Persian speakers, effective teaching methods and appropriate educational resources are essential to accurately and comprehensibly convey concepts.
Learning Persian as a second language is not limited to memorizing vocabulary but also requires understanding concepts, grammatical structures, reading, writing, and the ability to comprehend content. To motivate learners, updated and goal-oriented resources and also trained instructors in Persian language teaching to non-Persian speakers are vital.
One often overlooked point is that teaching Persian as a second language differs from teaching Persian literature. The assumption that anyone fluent in Persian or with a degree in literature can teach this language is incorrect. Teaching Persian as a second language requires a deep understanding of applied linguistics, teaching principles, and cross-cultural communication.
This article presents effective strategies in teaching Persian as a second language, aiming to provide the groundwork for greater international expansion.
